Thought I was getting an acute education on ignorance and it was obvious that the powers to be were corrupt and full of themselves, not a natural way to live in my opinion
Sometimes when men swallow so much power for themselves they get sick and eventually spew out ignorance and stupidity, which only then the general public has to try and absorb.
Bad things may happen when fear is in support of ignorance, as history shows us.
You might say that the tainted spritual food made me sick
for those who don't know i've been 'inactive' for around one year.
i stopped attending meetings late last year.
all during this time i was working on my wife (known on this board as amber rose), helping her see the problems with the watchtower.
Maybe this elder might show some honesty and integrity and leave this organization of lies and false pretense

for me it was a combination of things over a long period of time.
being raised as a witness, you do things by rote.
but when you see sooooooooo many watchtower inconsistencies, mistreatment of the "brothers", elder abuse, and simple lack of love, it begins to make you start seriously thinking.
Discovered on my own that it was developmental mental illness, probably brought on by mind controlling suggestions of fear and coercion

i have gotten over many, many of the things i grew up with, except that one.

in my decades of the "truth" i have heard scriptures twisted in an olympic manner to apply to local needs.
there were so many on various sexual activities that i tempted to throw money on the platform!.
i even heard from a reliable brother of a local needs on farting.

They are on top of the food chain and are responsible for the gathering of the flock/slaves and the running of the corporation. They have the important task of sustainability
to make a living not only for themselves but for all the workers/slaves that work at headquarters. This has to be acknowledged when you realize that this small group of men have mediate
power and control over 7 million people so perhaps maybe the question may be do they have a choice ?
The original effort after all was to empower these men, they BS..ed a whole lot to get that power but never the less they succeeded.

at the christian convention center in w. palm beach.
i had the pleasure of having to go all three days -- yes it was boring.
